TANIM DE CHIAPAS CAPSULE REVIEW
After Peru Secreto, here comes another Nespresso limited edition from an area which brings me back great travel memories, Chiapas. The first thing you will notice is the engaging aroma as the coffee drips into your cup. When it comes to savoring it, Tanim de Chiapas has a nutty and dark flavor with a thick, enduring aftertaste. While this makes for a fine cup of espresso, Tanim de Chiapas isn’t as subtle and distinctive as its limited edition counterpart Umutima, falling short of greatness.
COFFEE PAIRING
- Activities: Strong enough to wake you up and good enough for having Nespresso moments throughout your morning.
- Music: I’ve been listening to Kanye West’s latest, The Life Of Pablo which is a good but not his greatest effort, perfectly reflecting Tanim de Chiapas’ experience.
- Food: Because of its dark taste, I paired it with dark chocolate covered Petit Ecolier biscuits from the French brand Lu, which you can find at various grocery stores in the US.
PACKAGING
This limited-edition coffee comes in a beautiful box bringing a colorful vibe reminiscent of Mexico. It features red, pink and flowers and includes 10 pink and blue capsules that are sure to stand out in your capsule collection.
