Starbucks Nespresso Pike Place review: capsule & coffee cup

Starbucks Nespresso Pike Place is a medium roast lungo coffee capsule made with a blend of Arabica coffee beans from Latin America.

STARBUCKS PIKE PLACE CAPSULE REVIEW

Created in 2008, this classic Starbucks coffee is named after their original store in Seattle. While it seemed to be a customers favorite, the roaster seems to have just changed and spoiled its original recipe. Since you’ll never see me hang out at their coffee shops or pretending to be cool walking around holding a Starbucks cup, I can’t attest these Nespresso pods are made with their updated blend. What I can however tell you is that this capsule feels like somebody overstuffed a drip machine, making a dry, thick, overly dark Lungo cup leaving you with a not very pleasant aftertaste – think 150% dark chocolate.
