OUR REVIEW
Like most HiLine capsules, Soho exhibits some bitterness but while other capsules pull it out gloriously – most particularly Times Square and Broadway – this one provides quite an uneasy experience. With a 7 out of 10 intensity and enough thickness, it does make for decent espresso material though – too bad, the flavor isn’t smooth.
PAIRING
HiLine’s Soho capsule box
- Activities: Starting the day with one cup of Soho seems to be enough, especially if it’s the first one and I would recommend following with a softer blend.
- Music: It’s strong and uneasy, which is the same thing I experience while watching Future Island perform a song.
- Food: Brioche with butter as you need something extra sweet to neutralize the bitterness.
PACKAGING
Soho comes in a pink box which includes 10 purple capsules – as a side note, one might wonder why the box isn’t purple as the Chelsea capsules are already using the color pink. The logo shown on both the box and capsules features 3 women shopping.
