Maestro

Maestro coffee capsule by Rosso Caffe

Rosso Caffe’s Maestro capsule and espresso cup

Arabica beans coffee from Tanzania and Costa Rica.

OUR REVIEW

With an intensity of 9, Maestro is Rosso Caffe’s second strongest capsule and it pays off, delivering a great caffeine experience. I actually found it to be more subtle than other lighter coffees as it offers more contrast. The first thing you will notice is that it’s a full-body coffee and, as you are taking a sip, the hazelnut flavor clearly reveals itself. Following this smooth opening, then comes the aftertaste, Maestro suddenly revealing its strength and it feels great.

COFFEE PAIRING

Maestro Rosso Caffe capsule box

Rosso Caffe’s Maestro capsule box

  • Activities: Good to start the day with a punch, to help you wake up; can also be the focus of your coffee break or accompany your work effort – I enjoy having an espresso cup by my laptop.
  • Music: With a title like Maestro, it seems dedicated to classical music – Beethoven coming to mind – but I would clearly pair it with something colorful and bombastic such as Ride’s emblematic “Leave Them All Behind”.
  • Food: Because Maestro is strong and tastes like hazelnut, it would contrast well with a soft Swiss milk chocolate.

PACKAGING

Maestro’s box is purple and features some music notes.

It includes two plastic bags containing 5 purple coffee capsules.
