OUR REVIEW
With an almost maximum intensity, Messico Blend Forte is a strong, dark espresso for espresso connoisseurs. Upon first sip, you feel a classic espresso flavor which is quite subtle but is then followed by a bitter, harsher aftertaste.
COFFEE PAIRING
- Activities: Strong enough to kick start your day with a bang, you can certainly have a couple more cups but be aware you will feel its effect.
- Music: Because it’s dark, bitter and somewhat harsh, it’s a good fit for the goth/synth/industrial band Killing Joke, most particularly their latest album Pylon.
- Food: Due to its strong bitter taste, you want to pair it with something softer and flavorful such as breaded egg bred with butter.
PACKAGING
Messico Blend Forte’s packaging is pretty simple with a rectangle black box featuring the coffee’s name in grey as well as information in 6 languages on the back. Its 10 capsules come in little black bags showcasing the intensity.
