CAFEZINHO DO BRASIL CAPSULE REVIEW
Cafezinho Do Brasil isn’t for everybody. It’s a dark, short coffee which quickly reveals its signature bitterness before leaving you with a thick aftertaste. While you can clearly taste the walnut, the herbal feel is more distant but, to be frank, I was expecting more colorful flavors from a coffee with a Brazilian label. With its bright yellow, green and white tones, both the box and capusles seem to promise a light, joyful experience capturing the Brazilian spirit while the coffee itself proves to be surprisingly dark and bitter. Those who like bitter coffees will certainly enjoy Cafezinho do Brasil but others might prefer to sip it as a cappucino to soften it up.
COFFEE PAIRING
- Activities: With its intensity and bitterness, this one is better suited to start your day, rather than close your lunch. While it’s dark, it’s not too intense, which means you can safely have a couple cups.
- Music: When it comes to Brazil, my go-to artist is Bebel Gilberto, her 2005 electro-bossanova remix album Bebel Gilberto Remixed bringing great vibes to my coffee experience.
- Food: because of its bitterness, I found Cafezinho do Brasil to work well with a chocolate doughnut as the sweetness and bitterness make for a good pairing.
