Nespresso Nº20 review: capsule and coffee cup

Nº20 is a 2023 Q graded Limited Edition capsule made of Arabica beans from Colombia.

NESPRESSO Nº20 REVIEW

With a steep price of $2.25 per capsule – the highest yet as far as I can remember- and Nespresso’s recommendation to enjoy it in a glass, Nº20 is clearly marketed like a fine wine and the question is whether it is worth it. First, as I always mention it here, I am not a fan of overtly fruity espressos and I was pleased to find out that the orange blossom and citrus notes are very subtle, working their magic in the background. Enveloped in a very soft body, those flavors titillate your taste buds quickly before leaving you with a pleasant, round finish. While there is not bitterness here, the good news is that it is not to sweet either, Nespresso having found the right balance to create an experience that is all about smoothness. As to whether it is worth spending +$11.25 for just 5 capsules, to my surprise, I would say yes because it is worth the shot … of espresso.
